Bridge of Orchy and Glencoe

End of the second week and Yvette is somewhere close to Fort William and 270 miles in to her journey. We understood from her that earlier on this week she was beyond the Bridge of Orchy and close to the entrance to Glencoe.

Given that her food reserves are low and she has been rationing herself since Monday, and foraging for roots and greenery, I did ask her whether she was going to resupply herself at Fort William, however the answer to that was “no” with a further statement that she was going to just push on through to Inverie in Knoydart. Therefore all I can do for her is perhaps buy her a pint at the Old Forge Pub in Inverie – the remotest pub in Britain – when she gets there.
